I have exploring the idea of going bank less to save as much as possible by using cash.  The only thing we do differently is use a Debit card to pay for online purchases or on line bill pay for our monthly utilities. 

Maybe you have chosen to do business with a company or even several that seemed on the surface to be a decent deal, in terms of what they offered, but at some point needed to be contacted about a problem that their on line or automated system's FAQ's didn't offer a solution for.

Last year, then VFW Post 651 members voted to let the post building be bought out by Son's memer to be remodeled and maybe get rented back to the membership, after it was remodeled to bring it up to code, and make the necessary improvements that could make it a going concern for all.
That was then, and after all the building contents had been taken out, pretty much stripped and stored and the like, the remodeling was to start; but there developed one catch after another, and pretty soon it was discovered that the buyer was facing a divorce and that the whol plan was disolving.

My wife and I are both on medications for various reasons, and I have only recently come to appreciate how much more sensitive, our skin has become to the sun; and it does not take much exposure to get a burn.
It used to be that we loved to get the "California Tan" look, but now days that could easily lead to some serious skin problems. So we are now invested in some serious SFB 35 or higher (the good stuff), and wearing big floppy brimmed hats, and even putting on long sleeves if necessary for the job at hand.

I am posting this for anyone, living in any community that offers decent Public Bus transportation, and has a Taxi service available to them.  And hope and pray many of the local Ministires are thinking in some of these terms to hep in their fellowships.

In our shop, I get quite a few folks that are complaining about the cost of vehicle fuel, costs to get to more distant jobs in places like Indy or Ft. Wayne; and pretty much all the associated cost that go along with how it impacts food, home heating, and such things.

This coming Tuesday May 3rd will be our Municipal Elections.  These are among the most important, yet least voted in? why?, because so few care to vote in such elections? I don't think that is it, but many don't think local politics make much of a difference.  And apathy can or has set in, and needs to be overcome.

Another holiday, another reason for the season to be explained once again, and why?  Because another pagan symbol is being used, and has to addressed for the sake of all those who enjoy the Easter Bunny, but don't understand the connection of Easter Sunday to Christianity.
