Rolling Thunder Heading out for RIDE to the WALL 2008 in Washington D.C.

®  Rain or Shine, the local chapter of Rolling Thunder Inc. IN-5 will be departing the Area of Operations (AO) of Heekin Park, after haveing a Memorial ceremony for Tiny Adams, whom supported so many of our State Initiatives, and Veterans Memorial Service at the Vietnam Veterans Monument.

Gathering of participants and memorial services, to start at 09:00 hrs, (09:00 A.M.) and Kick stands up at 10:00 hrs. (10:00 A.M.)

This is an annual event that Rolling Thunder Inc. IN-5 participates in to keep alive the political action throughout our country to achieve closure for the families of our Military Members who never returned from past conflicts.  To maintain pressure on our Government to "account for" the POW-MIA's from all wars, and to repatriate their remains, for honorable internment in our national cemeteries.

Rolling Thunder Inc.'s ® major function is to publicize the POW/MIA issue.  To educate the public of the fact that many American Prisoners of War were left behind after all past wars.  To help correct the past and to protect future Veterans form being left behind should they become prisoners of war/missing in action.  We are committed to helping the disabled Veterans from all wars.
