Do you want to write a blog (examples here) at Muncie Free Press? It's easy.

1) If you don't already have one, sign-up for a free account. We do recommend you read our Terms of Service, Privacy Policy and our Ethics statement. (Yes, that's a lot of reading! We like to try to accomplish good things in this virtual neighborhood, though.)

2) After you're signed in, Click 'Create Content' (always found on the left rail in your 'control panel.' Yes! You can control a lot of MFP. Yay.) On that page (or you can skip to this page), click 'Blog Entry.'

3) On this page, you create a title. Try to think of something that encompasses the whole post. The body area is where you type about your life. We don't mind if you mention your business every now and then (not including 'sigs,' which are fine), the Classifieds are a better section for that. Remember be neighborly here. This isn't some 20th century newspaper forum!

That's about it! Welcome to the wonderful world of blogging, becoming part of the online community at Muncie Free Press!

Some quick guidelines for blog posts:

• Unlike 'stories' and 'images,' blog posts are posted directly to the site. If you abuse this, we reserve the right to suspend your blog (and account) at any time at our discretion.) A blog at MFP is a privilege, not a right.
• If you think something in your post might offend a lot of people, mention that in the title and the first paragraph. That way, people can decide if they want to read. As always, this is a do unto others as you'd have them do unto you type of site.
  
• While we're on that, this isn't a Muncie Girls Gone Wild type of site. No graphic photos please.
• No Committments - There are no quotas you must fill to blog at MFP. That is, you don't have to guarantee you'll write X number of posts every week. We work around your schedule!
• Play nice.
  

What we don't want:

• Spam
• Racism
• Trolls
  

What we do want:

• Your thoughts and opinions on life in Muncie and East Central Indiana.
• Your questions that someone in the MFP community might have an answer for...
• Etc. Etc. Etc.
