Maryland Guard Supports Olympic Heroes Parade

BALTIMORE, MD – The Maryland National Guard ‘Minuteman' Humvee arguably is the most photographed military vehicle in the world -- at least it seemed to be over the weekend. An estimated 30,000 screaming fans lined the streets of Towson, Md., Oct. 4, along with local, national and international media to welcome home Olympic hero Michael Phelps as he made his way slowly down a two-mile parade route standing up through the sunroof of the now-famous Maryland National Guard Humvee.
