MUNCIE, IN - The Advertising Federation of East Central Indiana recently adopted a name change. The organizations new name, American Advertising Federation East Central Indiana was adopted by the board to better align itself with AAF—the American Advertising Federation headquartered in Washington D.C. On August 7, 2008 at a membership meeting, the board’s proposal to change the name was presented and the vote was unanimous to make the change.

MUNCIE, IN - The Advertising Federation of East Central Indiana honored three individuals for their outstanding contributions to advertising and service to the organization and the community at the ADDY Awards Banquet, Feb. 23. 

MUNCIE, IN - What Happens in Vegas Stays in Vegas will be presented by Randy Snow, vice president and creative director for R&R Partners at the March 7 luncheon, 11:30 a.m., at the Horizon Convention Center in Muncie, Indiana. The event is sponsored by the Advertising Federation of East Central Indiana.

MUNCIE, IN - Gold, Silver and Best of Show winners were honored Saturday, February 23, at the 2008 ADDY Competition sponsored by the Advertising Federation of East Central Indiana. Advertisers, designers, artists and students from East Central Indiana gathered at the Horizon Convention Center for recognition of their creative excellence in all media, including print, broadcast, out-of-home and public service advertising.  

MUNCIE, IN - Members of the Advertising Federation of East Central Indiana are invited to attend the annual Ad Fed Auction/luncheon, 11 a.m., Friday, December 14, at the Horizon Convention Center, Muncie. Members may invite a guest for free. Reservations must be made for members and guests to ensure entrance to the auction.  Registration table and silent auction will open at 11 a.m., live bidding will begin at noon.

MUNCIE, IN - Anne Condran, member and executive director for the Advertising Federation of East Central Indiana, was honored at the kickoff luncheon meeting held September 14. Ad Fed board members unanimously passed a resolution, May 24, 2007 to name one of three $1,000 scholarships provided each year to area students studying advertising as The Anne Condran Scholarship.

MUNCIE, IN - Michael Gellar, account executive for AOL, was the kick-off speaker for the Advertising Federation of East Central Indiana’s first luncheon program September 14 at the Horizon Convention Center, Muncie. Geller’s topic, Practicing the Art of Digital Conversation, provided insights into the many innovative ways to communicate through online communication.

MUNCIE, IN - The Advertising Federation of East Central Indiana announces their 2007-08 luncheons and events. They will kick off the year, September 14 with Michael Gellar, account executive for AOL. He will speak on Practicing the Art of Digital Conversation. 

MUNCIE, IN - The Advertising Federation of East Central Indiana was recently named the 2007 “Club of the Year” for AAF Division III. To receive this honor, Ad Fed entered evidence of club achievements in six different categories: advertising education, communications, diversity, club management, membership and programs.
