Saturday, April 12, 2008, a monumental day in Muncie, Indiana. No, Sharon McShurley didn’t resign and turn-over the Mayorship to Jim Mansfield (the legitimate winner), but Senator Barack Obama, the much-talked about presidential candidate, stopped by to shed some direly-needed light on the state of national and international politics. As expected, Muncie showed up in all its splendor.

Does This Mean I'm Legit ?

     Saturday morning finds me hard at work at my desk in Louisville. Ideally, I'd be in Muncie, but scheduling conflicts have made my life a little more complicated of late. That's what I need - scheduling conflicts. I've any number of " ologists "  -  well-paid " ologists " at that, who always remind me to ease up on stress. Apparently, they've not yet received the good word that I, like so many people, do not live in a bubble.

Muncie Southside Athletes Sign to Colleges

 

MUNCIE, IN - Angela Baldridge Thompson, Southside High School girls’ head basketball coach, has announced that senior basketball player Ty’Ronda Benning today signed a National Letter of Intent to play basketball at Lincoln Trail College of Illinois. The signing took place at Southside High School immediately after school with Lincoln Trial Head Girls’ Basketball Coach Chad Killinger, SHS Athletic Director Tom Lyon, and Mrs. Thompson.
