Downtown Muncie Prepares for BSU Freshman Orientation

 

MUNCIE, IN - Ball State University freshman orientation begins Tuesday, June 2nd, and Downtown Muncie welcomes our guests with open arms. Downtown businesses and merchants are encouraged to take advantage of the many promotional and volunteer opportunities offered over the next few weeks. We want everyone to get involved, to let our visitors know what a wonderful community we are and how much we Downtown Muncie has to offer!

Downtown Muncie - Indiana Main Street Community Meeting April 29

 

MUNCIE, IN - Please join your fellow friends of Downtown Muncie for a public presentation about Indiana Main Street on Wednesday, April 29, at 4:30pm at Muncie Civic Theatre. This presentation represents Muncie’s first step toward becoming a Main Street community, and our next steps in Muncie’s downtown revitalization efforts.

Guest speakers will include Indiana Main Street program manager Shae Young, Darrin Murrell of Historic Farmland USA, Bill Morgan and Ann Johnson. Some time will also be dedicated to other community announcements at the end of the presentation. Concessions will be available in the lobby.

Downtown Muncie Groups to Host Indiana Main Street Presentation

 

MUNCIE, IN - The final meeting of the Muncie Downtown Business Council will be a symbolic transition into a new era of downtown revitalization. Indiana Main Street will be the focus of the groupís last public meeting on Wednesday, April 29th, at 4:30 pm at Muncie Civic Theatre. Refreshments will be available in the lobby.

Visitors can Show Off "Cool Moves" at new Muncie Children's Museum Exhibition

 

MUNCIE, IN - There is an exciting traveling exhibit opening at the Muncie Children’s Museum, Tuesday, February 17, 2009, “Cool Moves! The Artistry of Motion!  “Cool Moves” is an engaging exhibition featuring fourteen fun, interactive exhibits that allow you to discover the beauty of motion all around us.

Downtown Muncie Three-Day Arts Celebration

 

October kicks off with a three-day celebration of the arts in Downtown Muncie Indiana. Family fun fills the streets from Thursday, October 2 through Saturday, October 4, with four festivals spotlighting the best of East Central Indiana's visual arts, poetry, music, dance, film and more. 

Muncie Downtown Business Council Meeting Wednesday

 

MUNCIE, IN - The Muncie Downtown Business Council will meet Wednesday, Sept. 24th, at 3pm in the Star Press building conference room. DBC meetings typically last one hour.  Following the meeting, the Downtown Business Council float building party for the BSU Homecoming parade will be at 6pm at Muncie Sign Shop, 1912 N Granville Ave.
