Anderson Mayor’s "Traveling City Hall Session" is Monday

ANDERSON, IN - Anderson Mayor Kevin S. Smith invites citizens to attend another Traveling City Hall Session, Monday, April 23 from 6 to 7 p.m. in the church sanctuary of Main Street Church of God, 4211 S. Main Street.

The mayor will discuss with the public such ongoing city projects as bicycle and walking trails, paving, infrastructure upgrades, beautification, public safety, responsible fiscal policies and economic development.

“This could be a tremendous opportunity for local government to respond directly to its citizens,” said Mayor Smith. “We hope a direct conversation with citizens will be the outcome of these meetings.”

Citizens groups, organizations or churches that would like to host a traveling “City Hall Session” should call the mayor’s office, 648-6000.
