Free Family Saturday at the Muncie Children's Museum Features Special Program About Horses

MUNCIE, IN - Free Family Saturday at the Muncie Children's Museum on May 26 features special programming from the Kentucky Derby Museum.  Program times are at 11 a.m. and 1 p.m.  Museum admission is free from 10:00 a.m. until 5 p.m.
 
Children and adults will have the opportunity to learn about caring for championship racehorses, as well as the history of the Kentucky Derby.  A representative from the Kentucky Derby Museum in Louisville will involve the audience in a demonstration of how many people it takes to care for one of the exquisite animals.  Learn about the history of the Kentucky Derby and horse farms in the Bluegrass State.
 
Warning ... be prepared to laugh and have a good time at this program.
 

The Muncie Children's Museum is a hands-on, interactive museum located at 515 S. High St. in Downtown Muncie. Museum hours are Tuesday - Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday from 1 to 5 p.m. Normal admission is $6 per person ages 1-100.
