Scholarship Applications Available for MCM Art Camp

A grant from the Indiana Arts Commission will underwrite two scholarships for Meet the Masters Camp.  Applications are available at the Muncie Children’s Museum, 515 South High Street in downtown Muncie.

Campers who attend Meet the Masters Camp will take part in art activities centered around drawing, painting, printmaking and sculpture.  Meet the Masters campers will learn about artists from the past as well as modern-day artists.  Campers will also enjoy a field trip to the Ball State Museum of Art.

The cost for this camp is $100 per child for members, and $125 per child for non-members.  Meet the Masters Camp runs from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. with optional supervised time in the Museum from 3-5 p.m.  To register, call the Museum at (765) 286-1660.

The Muncie Children's Museum is a hands-on, interactive museum located at 515 S. High St. in Downtown Muncie. Museum hours are Tuesday - Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday from 1 to 5 p.m. Normal admission is $6 per person ages 1-100.
