Technology Firm to Expand Its Indiana Operations
INDIANAPOLIS, IN - Haverstick, a leading technology and business services firm, announced today it will expand its Indiana operations, creating 40 new jobs.
Haverstick will relocate its corporate headquarters from nearby Carmel to Indianapolis’ west side where it will join its parent company MH Equity in leased office space at 6270 Corporate Drive.
“Creating an environment that allows businesses like Haverstick to grow and thrive in Indiana is imperative to our continued economic success,” said Nathan Feltman, Indiana Secretary of Commerce and chief executive officer of the Indiana Economic Development Corporation.
The new Indianapolis headquarters will be the largest of the company’s nine-office network that includes offices in Virginia, Texas, Maryland, Kentucky, Ohio and Washington, DC.
“Over the last 18 months, Haverstick has experienced substantial growth in all lines of business and particularly our work right here in Indiana,” said Howard Bates, Haverstick’s president. “We are very excited about Haverstick’s future and look forward to continuing to utilize the great human capital resources and business opportunities that Indiana provides a technology based services firm.”
The Indiana Economic Development Corporation offered the company up to $30,000 in training grants to encourage the expansion. The City of Indianapolis provided property tax abatement worth more than $68,000.
“I am pleased that Indianapolis is the new home to Haverstick,” said Mayor Bart Peterson. “The relocation and the addition of 40 new jobs will not only boost the city’s economy but add another expanding business to our growing and diverse city.”
Founded in 1994, Haverstick employs more than 600 employees throughout the county and has been named one of the fastest growing companies in Indiana for four consecutive years by the Indiana University Center for Entrepreneurship and Innovation.
