Muncie Community Schools Release Registration Information

MUNCIE, IN - The following is registration information for the Fall 2007 school year at Muncie Community Schools.

Elementary Offices

Elementary offices opened Monday, July 30 for student registration. If you are unsure of where your child will attend, call Director of Elementary Instruction Warner VanFleet, 747-5345.

Muncie Area Career Center

Monday, August 6 7:30 a.m. - 6:30 p.m. Presidents' Room
Tuesday, August 7 7:30 a.m. - 6:30 p.m. Presidents' Room

Please bring with you to the registration session: Student Social Security number, if the students will be driving, the vehicle license plate number, completed parent contact information form enclosed in mailing to your home
Thursday, August 9 Student/Parent Orientation Meeting
7:00 p.m. short meeting, then open classroom visitation and meet your instructors. MACC gym

Central High School:

• August 6 - Senior Registration - 8-3:30
• August 7 - Junior Registration - 8-3:30
• August 8 - Sophomore Registration - 8-3:30
• August 9 - Freshmen Registration - 8-3:30

New Freshmen Welcome Session 9-11 a.m.
sponsored by Student Council - free and fun to all incoming 9th graders.
Contact Mrs. Leach, 747-5260 by August 8 to confirm your attendance
New Student Orientation - 6:30 p.m. to all new CHS students

Southside High School:

• August 8: Registration, Main Office, 8:00 a.m. - 3 p.m.
• August 9: Registration, Main Office, 8:00 a.m. - 3 p.m.

Freshmen Orientation Sessions, Auditorium
Choose from 10 a.m. or 2 p.m. or 7 p.m.

• August 10: Registration, Main Office, 8:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.

Northside Middle School:

• Grade 6: August 7 - 12:00-6:00 p.m.
• Grade 6 and any new student orientation sessions - 12:30, 3:30 and 5:30 p.m. in the auditorium.
• Grades 7 and 8: August 8 - 12:00-6:00 p.m.

All students must complete the registration process to receive their class schedule.

Wilson Middle School:

• Grade 6: August 8 - 12:30-6:00 p.m. in the cafeteria
• Grades 7 and 8: August 9 - 12:30-6 p.m. in the cafeteria

(Athletic Physicals - August 8 from 12:30-2:30 in the cafeteria)
