Nearly 100 Businesses Expected at Tomorrow's Job Fair in Muncie
MUNCIE, IN - Congressman Mike Pence will host this year’s 6th Congressional District Job Fair tomorrow in conjunction with Ball State University and WMDH radio. The Job Fair is aimed at matching Hoosier job seekers with local businesses. Résumé writing and interviewing seminars will be offered each hour.
“Whether someone is seeking full or part-time employment, finding work is essential for the well-being of Hoosier families,” said Pence. “The response to this year’s job fair by employers is overwhelming and the opportunities for job seekers outstanding.”
The 6th Annual Job Fair will be held at Worthen Arena on Ball State University’s campus in Muncie. The Job Fair will begin at 10:00 a.m. and end at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday, August 7th.
Kindercare Learning Center will be providing free childcare for job seekers, and the Muncie Indiana Transit System (MITS) will be providing free transportation for city residents. To schedule free childcare, call 765-286-1850
For job seekers outside the Muncie city limits, as well as Blackford, Jay, Randolph, and Henry county citizens, Lifestream Services will provide free transportation to the Job Fair.
