Mike Pence Hails Job Fair Success in Muncie

MUNCIE, IN - Congressman Mike Pence today hailed the success of the Sixth Congressional District Job Fair and thanked officials from Ball State University and other area businesses for their partnership.

"With 97 businesses and over 800 participants, this year’s job fair was an outstanding success," said Pence.

"It was an honor to play a part in matching Hoosier job seekers with employers," said Pence.

"I am especially grateful to President Jo Ann M. Gora of Ball State University for her support and the staff at Ball State’s Center for Organizational Resources who assisted job seekers with resume writing, interviewing skills, and developing professionalism.  These skills are essential for successful job hunting," said Pence.

"In addition, the job fair would not have happened without the help of Commissioner Andrew Penca of the Indiana Department of Workforce Development, as well as Indiana WorkOne, Paulette Lees at WMDH radio, Kindercare Learning Center, Muncie Indiana Transit System and Lifestream Services, Inc.," said Pence.
