Company A, 2nd Battalion, 152nd Infantry Regiment Returns from Operation Iraqi Freedom
INDIANAPOLIS, IN - Indiana Soldiers are scheduled to arrive home Saturday, September 22, after completing missions overseas.
Maj. Gen. R. Martin Umbarger, the Adjutant General for Indiana, received notification that approximately 135 Indiana National Guard Soldiers of the 76th Infantry Brigade Combat Team, Company A, 2nd Battalion, 152nd Infantry Regiment, will arrive at the Indianapolis International Airport at approximately 4:30p.m. The unit is headquartered in Indianapolis.
During their deployment, the mission for this unit was training the Iraqi police force and performing various installation security missions.
The media are invited to cover the return at the 38th Infantry Division Armory, 3912 West Minnesota Street, where family and friends are expected to greet the returning soldiers.
We are indebted to these citizen soldiers and their families for the sacrifices they made for our state and nation and are very happy for their safe return.
