Commercial Vehicle Enforcement Division September Enforcement Results - Redkey District

EAST CENTRAL INDIANA - Indiana State Police Commercial Vehicle Enforcement Division, Senior Motor Carrier Inspector/District Coordinator Diann Orr has released the September enforcement results for the six (6) motor carrier inspectors assigned to the Redkey District, which includes Blackford, Delaware, Grant, Jay and Randolph Counties.

Motor carrier inspectors focused their efforts on commercial motor vehicle driver related inspections to include: driver licensing, medical certification verification, log book entries, vehicle licensing, vehicle mechanical components, emergency equipment and annual vehicle inspection certifications as required by the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations.

The Indiana State Police Commercial Vehicle Enforcement Division motor carrier inspectors conduct these inspections most generally along Indiana roadways and at weigh stations 24 hours a day in all weather conditions.

  • Trucks violation(s) arrests:  92                                                                                                     

"It is the goal of the motor carrier inspectors to keep Indiana's roadways safe for all motorists and to enforce all laws concerning the operation of commercial motor vehicles", Orr said.
