Your Publisher Rants about the state of media in America

It started today as this piece from Poynter (Your Duty to Read the Paper) made the rounds today. I kinda banged out a response to the world right after seeing it (you can see my comments in the thread there...) I also wrote some more about it later at J-Hope with a post titled My Duty as a Journalist

I'd love to have your thoughts about some of the points I raise. I've been thinking about how to bring something up here without seeming petty.

Anyway, just a quick note so you can see that as the MFP publisher, I have a presence in the online world. (Take me to task if you think I was too tough on big media!)

The essay in question now points to J-Hope. Yay. Also, Clark showed up at J-Hope to weigh in. I'm pretty sure I would lose that debate, so I rambled on a bit in response. ;)
