Tip of the Day: Muncie Free Press recommends (very much so) using the latest version of Firefox to view this site. As an alternative, be sure to update your Internet Exlorer to version 7. The downloads aren't that large and it should really increase your browsing experience not only here, but elsewhere on the World Wide Web. Thanks and enjoy the site.
Howey @ MFP Brian Howey (of The Howey Political Report) is allowing us to reprint some of his material here at MFP. Enjoy and check out his website as well. MFP Believes"...where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is Liberty..." - 2 Corinthians 3:17 |

It is bad enough , that we are losing our freedoms one at a time,. When is going to end ? When are they going to fess up and tell us the truth. Their are people in their 90's who still smoke , so tobacco isn't to blame for all the cancers in the world . It's not the tons of nuclear warheads they blew up in our deserts trying to invent the perfect weapon , or the chemicals they supply through the chicken industry to get bigger chickens. Our government lies to us on a daily basis ,so listen very carefully. They do tend to double talk alot . There is already a bill going to the California House & Senate that would ban people from smoking in apartments. Yeah if you have to live in an apartment complex , you can't smoke in your own dwelling. What is suppose to be your sanctuary , is apparently your own little jail. Who has the right to tell us we can or cant do in our own home as long as we are not bothering anybody elses space , SMOKE AWAY !!!
You non-smokers need to get a grip !!! Jeff Ellison
Big government
Is one of the reasons sites like Muncie Free Press are so important. I don't have a lot of resources to be a watchdog ... yet ... but I see the need for it...
Thanks for your input, Jeff. How many people have you told about MFP this week so far? ;)
