Jill Long Thompson Launches New Campaign Website

Argos, IN - Today, Jill Long Thompson's campaign announced the launch of their new website, www.hoosiersforjill.com.

The site will be the online headquarters for the gubernatorial campaign and features information on Long Thompson, news and videos about the campaign, the campaign's blog and an events calendar. The campaign will also use the site to roll-out policy proposals in the future.

A key feature is a tool asking Hoosiers to submit their ideas for getting Indiana back on track.

"The Internet has changed the way Hoosiers work and live and I want to use it to change Indiana. I'm asking Hoosiers to send me their ideas for getting our state back on track. From the economy to education, Hoosiers hold the answers to solving our problems and I want to hear from them," said Long Thompson.

Jill Long Thompson represented Northeast Indiana in the U.S. House of Representatives, serving from 1989 to 1995. She served as Under Secretary of Agriculture for Rural Development from 1995 to 2001. Long Thompson formerly served as C.E.O. of the National Center for Food and Agricultural Policy. She received her B.S. in Business from Valparaiso University and

M.B.A. and Ph.D. in Business from Indiana University. Jill Long Thompson and her husband Don Thompson, a commercial airline pilot, live on their family farm in Marshall County.
