Hear Ye, Hear Ye...Pollmaster Sought

I'm looking for a volunteer to fill the position of pollmaster at MFP. It's an unpaid gig at the moment, but see the assignment entry for more details. There's a lot of smart people out there and I think someone could have fun with doing it (especially with a special 'pollmaster' user account. ;)

While we're on the subject of polls - if you've been paying attention, there have been quite a few the last few days. Too many do you think? Easy to find the old polls? What would make the feature easier? Do you even find it useful/entertaining/enlightening?

While researching online polls recently, one of the funniest things I saw was the tagline at Topix.net (which is owned by Gannett and other big media newspapers) - anyway, their tagline is 'Vote Early, Vote Often...' which is probably accurate when it comes to most online polls not being very scientific. I like the tagline, though, but doubt I could use it now...

That's it for now. Remember, if you think something here at MFP could be better, feel free to contact me via one of the various methods.
