MUNCIE, IN - That much anticipated initial public offering of Facebook on Friday should be viewed with caution, according to financial advisor Gary Demaree who works out of the Raymond James office at Munseetown Square.

Women with education and income rock 2012 primary in Delaware County

MUNCIE, IN - About every other voter who came to Holy Trinity Lutheran Church on Tuesday to cast a ballot at Precinct 6 was a white women who appeared to be of  higher income and education, according to poll workers.

 And that seemed to be the case elsewhere, especially at Yorktown Middle School at the big double up Precincts 88 and 95 that include much of Westbrook and other neighborhoods south of White River.

A march for Tori to stop bullying

MUNCIE, IN -  Nearly 1,000 youth and some adults of all races and religions marched out of Heekin Park Friday to help end the bullying that took the life of Tori Swoape.

The tax man is a Republican

MUNCIE, IN  - They stood in line all day Thursday to pay their taxes in the Delaware County treasurer's office with Treasurer John Dorer working one of the front windows.

 And it was Republicans who run the Muncie Sanitary District and Yorktown Town Council that raised your taxes more than any school or other local government.
