Citizens of Delaware County for Property Tax Repeal

By Jim Arnold

Thanks to everyone who participated in the “Citizen’s of Delaware County for Property Tax Repeal”  “Sign Up” events at the South Madison Street VanDeusen location.  Special thanks are in order for Manager KIM Hiatt and Owner Gail VanDeusen who graciously offered the Madison Street location for our “Sign Up” events on Saturday October 20th, and 27th.

It was a great opportunity to distribute “Citizen’s of Delaware County for Property Tax Repeal” Yard Signs and to “Sign Up” people who support the efforts of the CDCPTR.  We also distributed flyers on the Candidate Forum Scheduled for Thursday November 1st at 6:30 P.M. at the Cornerstone Center for the arts.

Our Sign read “HONK IF YOU HATE TAXES” and we had a lot of people honk and wave at us as they drove by.  I appreciate everyone who showed their support, and advise everyone that the Citizens of Delaware County for Property Tax Repeal are alive and well and coming soon to a neighborhood near you.

Please join me and other concerned citizens at the CDCPTR Candidate Forum to learn about our candidates as an informed vote is the best vote of all.

Good job, but let's not forget what it takes to finish it...

Everything we can do to call attention to property taxes is important, but don't forget that in order to eliminate them, we have to send legislators to Indianapolis that are committed too that end.
