Holiday Open House Happening at Old National Road Welcome Center

WAYNE COUNTY, IN - The Old National Road Welcome Center Holiday Open House will take place on Friday, November 16th and Saturday, November 17th at 5701 National Road East, Richmond, Indiana. Hours are Friday 8:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Saturday 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Unique gift items are available in our gift shop including books about Indiana, Wayne County, jazz artists, children’s books and cookbooks.  You can find music CD's by Randy Carmichael (son of Hoagy Carmichael), Carol Lou Woodward, Donna Geddes and the Richmond Symphony. We also have sweatshirts, t-shirts, caps, Cozme jewelry, Cats Meow, magnets, mugs, pens and  pieces from the Tom Herold Christmas collection with various Santa carvings.

This is the place to find local and many Indiana made items such as wooden clocks and walking canes, Warm Glow candles, Tedco Toys, Olympian candies, Scott Shaffer pottery, and “Little Landmarks” hand-painted wooden historic buildings by local artist Norma Wharton.

The Welcome Center has brochures of all attractions throughout the State of Indiana and highway maps are available. Refreshments will be served. For more information, please call 935-8687.
