American and French Sailors Team Up to Train in Africa

Members from Combined Joint Task Force-Horn of Africa explosive ordnance disposal technicians train with French naval special forces practicing a scenario using a Marine Heavy Helicopter Squadron CH-53E to rope into a simulated hostile situation at a French camp in Djibouti. As members slide down heights ranging from 30 to 50 feet, troops set up a defensive posture to protect the remaining members who descend from the helicopter.
