Autumn Knit-In at Danner's Books

MUNCIE, IN - On Sunday, November 11th from Noon to 6:00 p.m., Danner's Yarns, Gifts, & Books will host an Autumn Knit-In! No reservations are needed to attend and there is no charge for this event. Everyone is welcome, crocheters too. Please join us!

No Projects left? Help with Care2 blankets! Knit for Care2! Care2's mission is to create 100 knitted blankets to be donated to the Muncie Mission, A Better Way, the Christian Ministries' Sleeping Room, and the Wayside Mission, all local charities helping to house the homeless of our community.

Susan Danner, owner of Danner's, explains, "We want to work in advance to help those in need prepare for the cold of next Winter. Our goal with Care2 at Danner's is to encourage local knitters to knit and donate 9" x 9" squares. Knitters may knit in any color and any design, as long as the yarn is washable. Knitters may donate as many squares as they like. 100 blankets will take 4,000 squares!".

We focus on the arts and feature a full line of fine yarns, knitting and crochet notions and accessories, unique gifts hand-made by local artists, books and magazines, journals and blank books, classes and workshops, book clubs, and much more. Danner's has been a locally owned and operated independent store since 1975.
