Public Invited to Environmental Board Meeting in Corydon

INDIANAPOLIS, IN - IDEM invites southern Indiana residents to the Indiana Water Pollution Control Board meeting on November 14 in Corydon.

This month’s meeting is being held in southern Indiana in an effort to make the environmental rule-making process more accessible to citizens throughout the state.

Meetings of the Indiana Water Pollution Control Board are open to the public.

The board agenda includes: a report on the status of IDEM’s environmental wastewater permit backlog; a public hearing and final adoption of a rule on E.coli standards; a public hearing and preliminary adoption of a rule on wastewater operator certification; a presentation on the updated list of impaired waters under Section 303(d) of the federal Clean Water Act; and, a presentation by the Harrison County Regional Sewer District Board.
