Shop for the Naturalists on your Christmas Gift List at Limberlost
GENEVA, IN - Author Gene Stratton-Porter earned the name "bird woman" from her readers because of her lovingly accurate portrayals of nature and wildlife. Gifts inspired by Porter's novels make Christmas shopping for the nature enthusiasts on your own lists easy!
Free site admission and refreshments will be provided during two special shopping days, Saturday, Dec. 15, and Saturday, Dec. 22, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. All items in the gift shop will be discounted by 20 percent or more! These include novels by Porter and videos and DVDs of movies based on her books. The gift shop also carries embroidered apparel and a line of Dover nature books designed for children.
The Limberlost Christmas sale is a perfect place to find discounted holiday decorations, stocking stuffers and last-minute gifts. Enjoy the cabin's festive ornamentation and holiday refreshments among friends and family. The gift shop is operated by the Friends of the Limberlost, and all profits from the sale will be used to fund projects at the site and the Limberlost wetlands.
