Do we still need Eminent Domain today? What about Property Tax Seizures? To support Governments "Rule" over us?

Now that we have seen some action on the home front of what the decision by our Federal Supreme Court decision to allow courts and state governments the OK to declare the needs of the special interest and economically privileged to seize our homes and business through this process of Eminent Domain and Seizure for unpaid back taxes then for the Common Good.  In short, if I can justify taking your property to better use it for my own vision of economic opportunity, and the communities economic interests, then it OK with the courts.

I don't know about all ya-all, but I don't feel safer, in the Governments ability to represent my citizen rights, and Constitutional Rights, Privileges, and Immunities.  I feel, Violated and Betrayed by our Representatives.  Thus far some states are attempting to curb such measures within their jurisdictions, and actually taking steps to limit arguments to further this position in their constitutions and state bill of rights.  This, in my considered opinion, is a good thing.  We should resist to the degree we no longer let representatives and courts have the power or authority to exercise Eminent Domain without a National or State Referendum, and require a fifty or greater percent to make it allowable.

I have come to beleive, it has become our generations patriotic duty to resist, such infringements by special interests, and big money that has apparently been successful in infecting our courts, and representatives is not the thing I want to catch hold of.  It is now apparent to me at least, that we need to retain more rights, and delegate less.  We in fact need to withdraw some delegated authority, and insure no new laws or codes are allowed, to be passed that would allow government or courts, to entertain let alone the ability to enforce, the idea of trying to introduce what they have thus far introduced, enacted and are now trying to enforce.  I don't care what party anyone is considering, this goes beyond party politics.

We can no longer allow our Republic to be administered by,  the level of corrupted political process as it has come to be viewed in a two party system.  We are at a crossroads in our states and country, where we the people need to be a republic of more direct proportion to our common good and cross ethnic representation, of all peoples equally, and especially by the Common American, and not the privileged few or intellectual only among us.  We need all the Genius our Society can muster to participate on a "Servant's" basis. 

We do Not need, neither should we need to embrace a political class of professional Politician, and neither should they EVER be allowed to retire at the republic's' expense, unless of course, they go on to other forms of government service; Military, INS, FBI, etc. but not as a professional politician, not as a super or privileged class of citizenry.  Or, for that matter allowed to be a powerful influence in another chamber, or in a position to unduly influence others who would take their places after their one term, or at most two.  Yes we need continuity but not at the expense, of creating a privileged class as has seemingly developed.

The very premise that Government "Rules" a Sovereign People is a bunch of nonsense; as we come to realize we are the Authority the Government draws it's powers from. Not itself.  Not from the Legislative, the Executive, Nor from the Judicial. But we represent the Fourth Pillar of Government that is the ultimate checks and balances of the sort, no other party in our Republic can or should withstand.  We are not to conduct ourselves as a mob as some have tried to paint a democracy rather then a republic; which we are.  We are a Representative Republic with the ability to make changes for our Common Good and to protect ourselves; even from ourselves and mob rule.

To this point in our Nations history, we have learned much, experienced much, and by now have enough accumulated knowledge, understanding and wisdom collectivly to apply in a more direct form of government then what we currently allow ourselves.  We may find that we can do, and ought to try this idea, on for size, and find out if in fact, we can make this work.  if we need to back up an put, well then we will and can, it won't take an act of congress to do it.  And it can be done within the framework of the constitution and bill of rights, but at we may sacrifice some laws and codes that will have to go.  Not to mention the currently used Federal and State Retirement systems.  Grand fathering will have to take place for a time, and terms defined to start and finish with a time to be implement in.

The time is NOW, and with all the things we are facing on the national and international scene; we can't afford to put off such important decisions any further.  Not that the nation will have a melt down or any such thing, but to insure we have a better, more secure future.  The longer we put off such changes the more it will cost us in the future.
