Governor appoints Ball State University trustees
INDIANAPOLIS, IN - Governor Mitch Daniels has announced the reappointment of a member of the Ball State University Board of Trustees and the selection of one new trustee.
Frank Bracken, who has served on the board since 1980, has been reappointed. Matt Momper, a Ball State alumnus, also has been named to the board.
Bracken, of Indianapolis, is the vice president of the board of trustees and a member of the Ball State University Foundation Board of Directors. He is currently a private attorney and formerly served as deputy secretary of the United States Department of the Interior. Bracken earned his undergraduate degree from Carleton College and his law degree from the University of Michigan.
Momper, a Fort Wayne resident, is president of Momper Insulation. He currently serves on the board of directors for the Ball State University Foundation and the Northeast Indiana Ball State Alumni Chapter. He was recognized as Ball State's top graduating senior as an undergraduate and received a Distinguished Alumni Award in 2007. Momper received his master's in business administration from Drake University.
Both appointments are effective immediately and will expire December 31, 2011.
