Special Election, Seventh Congressional District

INDIANAPOLIS, IN - Governor Mitch Daniels has issued Executive Order 08-01, which establishes the date of a special election for the Seventh Congressional District of Indiana as March 11, 2008.

The election will be conducted to replace the late U.S. Representative Julia Carson.

The writ of election was delivered to the Marion County clerk this afternoon.
