Verizon Wireless Activates New Cell Site in Oakville, Ind.
OAKVILLE, IN - A new cell site has been activated in southern Delaware County by Verizon Wireless. It improves their voice and data network in Oakville and along State Road 3 between Springport and State Road 67, West of Anderson, Indiana.
With the improved network coverage, more customers can use their wireless phones to make calls; send and receive email and text, picture and video messages; download music, games and ringtones; and view high-quality videos while enjoying clearer reception and fewer dropped calls.
"Network reliability is the No. 1 reason that customers choose and stay with Verizon Wireless," said Greg Haller, president–Indiana/Kentucky/Michigan Region, Verizon Wireless. "Getting through on the first try and maintaining a connection are important to our customers. We continue to optimize our network so that it remains reliable."
