As of February 22 there had been 85 motorist killed in car crashes compared to 112 at this time last year. The fatal count in Hamilton County is one, Madison County one, and Hancock County none.
The Seat Belts and Driving While Intoxicated campaign is sponsored by the Governor’s Council on Impaired and Dangerous Driving. Federal funding for the initiative is provided by the National Highway Safety Administration (NHTSA).
