Delaware County for Property Tax Repeal Road Trip

Hello, fellow Taxpaying Delaware County Citizen!
This email is on behalf of Citizens of Delaware County for Property Tax Repeal.
The reason we're calling on you is because Governor Daniels and the State of Indiana has called upon us.
The Governor has invited us to come to the Indiana Statehouse on this coming Tuesday, March 11th.
Governor Daniels would like us there, in force, and show our support of a comprehensive and permanent property tax relief package.
As you are probably aware, the members of the Indiana General Assembly are in the final days of trying to pass a major piece of property tax legislation that will affect our futures for a long time to come.
The Governor is seriously concerned in seeing that this legislation is concise, immediate and permanent.
As you might be aware, our Legislators have begun to stumble as the "midnight hour" approaches, and the partisan lines are starting to be drawn causing serious roadblocks to that effort.
Governor Daniels and the other citizens of Delaware County and Indiana needs us there to try and urge our Legislators back into reality and get on with the job of providing fair, balance and realistic property tax relief.
There is no doubt that voting citizen involvement speaks volumes above the politicians and special interest lobbyists. After all, it's our votes and taxes that afford them their jobs.
We need as many citizens as possible to participate. This is an opportunity to let your's and Delaware County's voice be heard all over the state and throughout the Statehouse.
The "rally" will be from 11 am to 2 pm, on the third floor of the Indiana Statehouse where the Conference Committee on property taxes is convening.
You may drive down on your own or join us on a bus we have chartered for a chauffered trip to Indianapolis.
Would you please consider participating in support of this very important effort?
The bus will be leaving Hiatt Printing at 1716 N. Wheeling Ave., Muncie, Tuesday, March 11th. It will be leaving promptly at 9:00 am.
So, try to arrive by 8:30 am. There is plenty of parking to the rear of Hiatt Printing.
The costs will be $15.00 per person (or less, depending on total participation). And, if at all possible we need you to pay in advance at Hiatt Printing between the hours of 8:00 am and 5:00 pm in order to reserve your seat on the Bus.
