Denied Medical Care and told TO MOVE because of Marijuana

On a recent trip to the pain clinic , I was told I needed to move. Now what led up to this isn't new to many people suffering from chronic pain. The

fault lies with idiotic laws and rules set up for a 1930's frame of mind. The NO TOLERANCE policy when it comes to marijuana usage for people

suffering from illnesses of many sorts is completely Hypocritical. From doctors all over the country but especially in California & Denver where

marijuana has either been de-criminalized or made legal to obtain, marijuana has finally been accepted as a helpful remedy to many of life's

ailments, but here in Indiana , if you smoke marijuana you will be refused pain medicine of any kind, no matter how much pain you are in. They would

rather refuse you treatment( which is against the hippocratic oath oath doctors must take in order to be a doctor) because the state says smoking

marijuana is illegal and if you are smoking marijuana you are a criminal. I had a doctor tell me he agreed with me but  there was nothing he could do .

No TOLERANCE meant ,NO TOLERANCE and I needed to move to a different state if I wanted the help I was suppose to receive. Why should I have to move

out of Indiana to receive proper medical attention??? Why should someone in California or Denver,Co. ,get better medical treatment because of marijuana

laws ?? When are we going to finally open our eyes here in the midwest ??

Why are we always 5 to 10 years behind the coast ??   Does ocean water make you smarter ? Or maybe it's the sunshine.
Californians hate smokers more than anybody , yet it is OK to buy  marijuana

( In Denver , Co. you can possess up to one ounce( legally)it
is the same in California ).

HS 11362.5. (a) This section shall be known and may be cited as the Compassionate Use Act of 1996.

(b) (1) The people of the State of California hereby find and declare that the purposes of the Compassionate Use Act of 1996 are as follows:

(A) To ensure that seriously ill Californians have the right to obtain and use marijuana for medical purposes where that medical use is deemed

appropriate and has been recommended by a physician who has determined that the person's health would benefit from the use of marijuana in the

treatment of cancer, anorexia, AIDS, chronic pain, spasticity, glaucoma, arthritis, migraine, or any other illness for which marijuana provides relief.

(B) To ensure that patients and their primary caregivers who obtain and use marijuana for medical purposes upon the recommendation of a physician are

not subject to criminal prosecution or sanction.

(C) To encourage the federal and state governments to implement a plan to provide for the safe and affordable distribution of marijuana to all

patients in medical need of marijuana.

(2) Nothing in this section shall be construed to supersede legislation prohibiting persons from engaging in conduct that endangers others, nor to

condone the diversion of marijuana for nonmedical purposes.

(c) Notwithstanding any other provision of law, no physician in this state shall be punished, or denied any right or privilege, for having recommended

marijuana to a patient for medical purposes.  Marijuana was only made illegal when the people responsible for cutting

down our forest for paper products felt threatened by a more efficient, less destructive way of obtaining paper products through HEMP(marijauna).

Producing 7 times the oxygen of a single tree, marijuana's uses aren't just limited to paper products( did you know that the Constitution of the United

States of America was written on HEMP paper ?)

The oil from the marijuana seeds can be converted into usable fuels and other lubricants. It is time to take advantage of this renewable resource.
From T-shirts to gasoline Marijuana and it's uses are being neglected. At a  time when we are all looking for alternative sources of fuel I know of at

least one we are ignoring right now and it is right in front of US !!!
