Are we still the Land of the Free?

 It is becoming more and more evident that many laws, codes and public policies are becoming less and less Just.  Just Judgement is being abandoned in favor of the Political Status Quo, and Big Business, Special Interests who appear to be "Buying" our Political Representation into their hip pockets and are working to make us a less just land of governed, rather then governing and demanding accountable responsiable representation.

Some laws are being made not by the legislatures and more and more by activists judges.  We can't afford such things to take place.  We are only the land of the Free because of our brave Military and our equally brave Home/Public defense forces, Guard, Reserve, Police, Sheriff, etc.

I am more convinced then ever; that we have become more socialistic then republic in our dealings and will after this next election cycle be on the cusp of abandoning the idea of a representitive republic, in favor of becoming a social-democratic form of more centrally strong Federal government with less and weaker state and individual retained rights.  To see what this would be like?  Simply look at Canada to our North, or France across the Atlantic.  Is this what we want to become just to have Universal Health Care, and other Socialistic Features?  If so, we are going to get what we will be voting for.
