RACE Blacked Out AGAIN

Blacked Out Once Again

Well after listening to all the hoopla raceday morning and watching as much TV coverage as we are aloud thanks to the ridiculous blackout rules due to the fact that they always wanted the race to be sold out and that people who lived close by wouldn't go to the race if they could watch it on TV. Well the race is always sold out and they have made it so that actually getting a ticket at face value is virtually impossible. So why do they insist on still blacking out the race here in Muncie. Why are forced to listen to the race on the radio , then if we want to watch the race later that evening. We have to make a choice between Indy and Nascar. Why would we want to watch a race we just listened to. Just another 1970's situation with rules and regulations that haven't been brought up to date with today's technology's. There is no reason why all of us shouldn't be able to watch the race LIVE!! With todays fast paced society that is no longer a Monday thru Friday 9-5 world . We all don't have the luxury of getting to choose when we can watch the race if we even get to watch it at all. This was the first year out of the past 4 that I actually got to watch the evening edition of the 500 , but I could have watched every year if they would let us watch it LIVE !!! So who-ever makes the rules needs to re-evaluate them and take into the fact not everybody can make the race due to all sorts of curcumstances. So give us a thought, and maybe next year we can all watch the race together.
