Middletown Idol Winners Announced

MUNCIE, IN - Cornerstone Center for the Arts would like to thank the sponsors for this year’s Middletown Idol competition. The competition was fierce.  There were 20 contestants competing to win the title of Middletown Idol 2008 in the Vocal Division and the New Dance Division. The Event was hosted by Ms. Lisa Love and judged by Mr. Arttacgo Luckett, Jr.; Ms. Angelia Gordon; Miss Elizabeth Sherrow; Ms. Michelle Jones; Ms. Joan Jones; Mrs. Yolanda Bonner; and Mrs. Beth Leavell-Davis. All proceeds from this event help us to continue our efforts to “Create Community Connections” by bringing the arts to the community.  

We pleased to announce the 2008 Middletown Idol Contest winners: 

Dance Division:

• First Place Winner: Blake Scheidenberger
• Second Place Winner: Audrey & Ian Rees
• Third Place Winner: Ar-Raqis 

Vocal Division:

• First Place Winner: Megan New
• Second Place Winner: Shelli Strong
• Third Place Winner: Kevin Heath 

Cornerstone Center for the Arts would like to again thank our sponsors for making this event happen and for our contestants who participated this year.  We look forward to Middletown Idol 2009. 

Contestants can pick up score sheets from Cornerstone Center for the Arts beginning on Wednesday, October 15, 2008 until Friday, October 17, 2008.
