Plotner Charged with Four Felony Counts

KOKOMO, IN -  Recently, a criminal investigation by Indiana State Police Detective Mike Tarrh resulted in the arrest of Daniel Edward Plotner, 33, Greentown, IN.  Howard County Sheriff’s Deputies served Plotner with a Howard Superior Court II arrest warrant charging him with four class D felony counts of theft; receiving stolen property. The warrant was served to Plotner at the Howard County Jail where he is currently being held with no bond. 

On September 19, 2008, officers from the Indiana State Police and Miami County Sheriff’s Department responded to a shooting at 2625 West Miami County Road 1050 South that killed an 18-year-old Kokomo, IN man. During a search of the home, officers allegedly found firearms and ammunition that had been reported stolen from a Howard County residence. Further investigation, revealed a few days prior to the shooting, Plotner purportedly brought the stolen weapons and ammunition to the Miami County home.
