INDOT Announces Open Houses for New U.S. 31 between Plymouth and South Bend

New U.S. 31 between South Bend and Plymouth discussed April 15 and April 16

ST. JOSEPH COUNTY,IN - The Indiana Department of Transportation (INDOT) will hold Open Houses to present plans and answer questions from residents about the New U.S. 31 being built between Plymouth and South Bend.

The first Open House will be held on Wednesday, April 15, at LaVille Jr.-Sr. High School, 69969 U.S. 31 South in Lakeville. Another Open House will be held on Thursday, April 16, at the Jackson Intermediate Center, 5001 S. Miami Road in South Bend. Both events will be held from 4-7 p.m.

The project team will have design and construction plans available for residents to view. Land acquisition specialists also will be available to answer questions about land purchasing and relocation.
