Mudkids Headline Slamology at Marion County Fairgrounds
INDIANAPOLIS, IN - Slamology is proud to present the Mudkids as the headlining act for the 6th annual Slamology Music Festival Saturday, June 20 at the Marion County Fairgrounds.
“The Mudkids are the perfect musical group for a show like ours,” said Rob Snodgrass, Slamology Stage Manager.
Since the Mudkids’ inception in 1997, they have been dedicated to forging a hip hop scene in the Midwest. They now have four albums under their belt and are working in the studio on their fifth. The Mudkids have persevered and proven to critics that hip hop does have a place and a following in Indiana. They have become the must see acts in the Midwest.
“They had to prove there was a market for what they did here in Indiana, just like we have had to work to build our reputation as one of the premiere car and truck shows,” added Snodgrass.
Slamology is a unique automotive and musical extravaganza that is at the forefront of the custom auto world in the Midwest. This year’s schedule of events include a car and truck show, car club games, a hydraulic show, bikini contest, freestyle motorcycle performance, an enormous slip-n-slide, the largest car stereo competition of the year, and of course the two day music festival.
Several other local musicians will take to the main stage, including acts like Rip the Jacker, Records, Lynda Sayyah featuring Nate Davis, SAY, DMS Entertainment, Generation Gap, Jaecyn Bayne, DJ Kid Kutt, Concrete Beatz, MVL, DJ Chris, Altus Snow, Sharp Team Entertainment, Mic Sol and Ace One, Destined Fame Entertainment and Psychoactive ID.
