Have you considered Glass Block as a replacement Window?

3 inch Glass block is a good energy alternative to conventional windows and even competitive with new 2009 standards for energy credits and cuts down on need for curtains and blinds.
I have never really considered glass block windows for my home. I think they are too business like for a home.

I have considered them but only as a decorative touch to a room or outside entrance.

I do not think I would want to tackle a glass block window project...it looks hard.

I do think I could do a glass block project if there were a do it yourself kit to help.

I suppose I might use them if the kit and labor were competitive to install and saves energy too.

I do not really care about saving money or energy so I doubt if I would even consider looking into it.

I do not care home much it costs or saves...I think they look old fashioned and I want my home to look progressive.

If I could get Rebuilding Together to help I might consider it. They do that kind of thing you know; if you qualify?
