The prayers of the Saints Avails Much! And, God is Good All the Time!

We found out last Thursday the 1st, that the wife was going to need double (possible triple) bypass heart surgery; they scheduled it for this past Thursday for 5:30 AM and I let everyone know I was Asking for Prayers of Intervention; the Prayers’ of the Righteous Saints Avails much. And God is Always Good regardless, but it is nice to (very nice) to see answers to prayer in such a positive manner.
There is a lot of controversy about does God heal everyone, some or none and we can see old and new testament proof they He does do a lot of healing, and sometimes we see Him let a person pass and we don't get to Second Guess God, instead we get to give thanks in all circumstances…not for all circumstances; but in all circumstances, we are to remain mindful that God’s Grace is “Sufficient” for our needs.
I am thankful that God has much Glory in Muncie and surrounding communities among the Righteous Saints as Prayer Warriors and Intercessors praying for the Wife and our Family. I am very thankful Our Daughter Kelly could take off work and stay with her at the bedside as she has, and that my Daughter-in-law Chrissie; could take off and come up from New Whiteland, IN. while my son is in Iraq; and keep him appraised about just how Mom is doing. As a household of faith we have had a lot going on, but all things are possible with God with those who believe and are called to His Purpose.
I continue to be on a pill form of Chemo after my own Stomach Cancer surgery; and am doing well too. All and all we have been sent a lot of faithful friends and family to help us through this time of ups and downs in our life. I am very thankful. God be blessed and blessing all those who are blessed to be a blessing to others in any given place. When I read that it is according to His Riches in Glory? I can only continue to Give God the Glory he so richly deserves and should receive each and every hour of every day.
Think of it? It is written that He “causes all Grace and Favor to abound towards us? And can we ever have enough good grace and favor? Of course not; we all need all we can give and receive and keep it passing around. The Righteous Saints sounds a bit funny, until you understand it is not our righteousness we are talking about but His (Jesus Christ’s) as we abide in Him, and He and the Father in us as we become more Fruit Bearing in being obedient to His leading us by His Holy Spirit.
Being found “in a state of Righteousness’” is not always open to interpretation, but is more a matter of personal obedience between the Master and His servant and no servant stands or fall except before his Own Master. So it is easy to understand, that if we have given our oath of believing faith that we believe Jesus of Nazareth is indeed the Christ of God, and we have believed in our hearts and confessed Him before mankind at being Lord? We should have no real problem obeying Him as our personal/household Master in our personal and corporate lives. Because is it is never anything we can do for ourselves that makes us Righteous; it is not given us to be able to earn or achieve it on our own, nor can it be bestowed upon us.
We must truly Yield to the work and person of Jesus Christ as Lord in our lives to obtain, and maintain that distinctive quality and standing. It requires renewing daily, for the rest of our lives until we pass over to be with Him forevermore. I am just so Happy that our Lord has given us the life of my wife so we can continue on this journey together; that He may have added good years to both our lives to continue in His calling on our lives.
If you are one of those, who have been a “Prayer Warrior” or “Intercessor” for us? Bless You, and thank you from a true heart of thankfulness. And I ask you, yours and your congregations or fellowship to please keep praying for all who are going through hard times, and are under great stress in their lives and whose health may not be the best at this moment.
We should all remember to do what we need to be doing to make ourselves less a burden to others and to be thankful for every day we have been given.
