The Children's Nutcracker Coming to Muncie

MUNCIE, IN - The fall marks the beginning of preparing for The Children's Nutcracker. This tradition has been performed for the last 10 years. Over 16,000 children have seen their first ballet through Muncie Ballet matinee performances.

The classes below are a great introduction to dance and Muncie Ballet one-of-a-kind performances. Dance or stage experience is not required.Learn a few new steps along the way too. After completing the Nutcracker classes students will perform in The Children's Nutcracker with Muncie Ballet dancers Dec 18 and 19th. Workshop fees are $75, and include costuming & family tickets to The Children's Nutcracker.MBS is also offering two free workshop classes. Details are below.

• Muncie's newest dance studio is 18 years old and is located at 118 S. Walnut Street

Snowflake Sparkle Wednesdays 3:00-4:00 Nov. 4- Dec. 9 
Designed for the child that likes the grace of tiptoes and twirling. Ballet steps will be used to create sparkling snowflakes.

Peppermint Pixies Wednesdays 4:00-5:00 Nov 4 - Dec.9
Grab a candy cane or a peppermint ball and get moving. Fast paced and fun with jumps, skips and gallops.
