Richard E. Dell (58) Arrested on Child Pornography Charges

PERU, IN - Early today Master Trooper Detective Tony Frawley of the Indiana State Police out of Peru served a warrant on an inmate of the Tipton County Jail for 15 counts of Child Pornography a class D Felony. 

The charges, stemming from an investigation that started in May of this year, were filed in Hamilton County Superior Court 6 alleged that Richard E. Dell, 58 years old from Westfield, IN had child pornography on his laptop computer.  The computer was taken as evidence in an earlier arrest on Dell and was turned over to the Indiana State Police Cyber Crimes Unit. 

Information discovered on the computer was enough to file the 15 counts.  Dell is being held on earlier charges in Tipton County Jail and then will be transported to Hamilton County Jail to face the pornography charges.  The investigation is continuing.
