Nineteen People Arrested During D.U.I. Patrols in Peru
Between 8:00 p.m. last night and 5:00 a.m. this morning, troopers from the Indiana State Police Peru Post conducted saturation patrols that targeted impaired drivers in the district which covers Cass, Fulton, Howard, Miami, Tipton, and Wabash Counties. During the nine hour period, officers arrested 19 individuals. Thirteen for allegedly driving while intoxicated. There were also 12 additional criminal charges including two individuals arrested on outstanding criminal warrants.
Arrested and Charges:
- Robert E. Miller, 50, Huntington, IN operating a vehicle while intoxicated
- Mark Wibel, 27, Peru, IN possession of handgun without permit
- Terrance Sheard, 37, East St. Louis, IL operating a vehicle while intoxicated and reckless driving
- Joseph Daniels,36, Kenosha, WI operating a vehicle while intoxicated and operating a vehicle without ever having a license
- Lisa McLaughlin, 41, Denver, IN operating a vehicle while intoxicated
- Jonathan Bennett , 20, Lake City, FL contributing to the delinquency of a minor
- Shayla Stuber, 19, Peru, IN contributing to the delinquency of a minor
- Kimberly White, 18, Peru, IN contributing to the delinquency of a minor
- Charles Shane , 35, Oak Lawn,IL operating a vehicle while intoxicated
- Kevin R. Cahill, 23, Kokomo, IN operating a vehicle while intoxicated and driving with a suspended license
- Glenn Robinson, 52, Marion, IN operating a vehicle while intoxicated
- Christina K. Miller, 38, Wabash, IN operating a vehicle while intoxicated
- Luis R. Santos,19, Logansport, IN operating a vehicle while intoxicated, operating a vehicle without ever having a license, and minor consumption of alcohol
- Amber Mumaw, 22, Kokomo, IN operating a vehicle while intoxicated
- Amanda M. Fox,19, Peru, IN criminal warrant for causing serious bodily injury and conversion
- Nathan P Ogle, 26, Kokomo, IN operating a vehicle while intoxicated
- Justin M. Christmas, 24, Kokomo, IN operating a vehicle while intoxicated

The Indiana State Police are committed to traffic safety and will continue to conduct saturation patrols to apprehend impaired drivers and to deter others from drinking and driving.
