Placing an Emphasis on Teaching Values to Families is Getting Noticed
At a time of year when many seemed to get caught up in the hustle and bustle of shopping, cleaning and more shopping. One creative company is appealing to families to 'calm things down' and spend some valuable time together. Growing Great Families has developed an unique and inspirational Advent Calendar and their concept is getting noticed.
Babble.com (a family resource web site that boasts one million unique vistors per month) has recently posted an article on the top 12 Advent Calendars. They have placed the Growing Great Families' Interactive Family Advent Calendar as the 5th Best Advent Calendar.
"It's encouraging that people are realizing the immense value that a simple tool like this can provide to families," says Nikki Glahn, the owner and operator of Growing Great Families and a mother of two. "I knew as I was creating this product, that it held the ability to really inspire families."
The Interactive Family Advent Calendar provides daily stories that the family reads together. These stories center around values like gratitude, empathy and kindness.
