Feed MY Sheep Event 2009 another sucess this year!

Yet another Thanksgiving and once again we have another Feed My Sheep event that has again been well organized and the volunteers did wonderfully to make this event the best act of compassion that could be helpful to so many in such need.

 Many have been helped and it is plainly evident that even though the original organizers are now retired and moved away the new people who are now organizing the effort are doing an exception job and carrying on the tradition of those who went before.

But any way you look at this Thanksgiving of 2009 you can see how I would want to see it as a reaffirmation of the state of so many in our community who are willing to set aside their own comfort and look to the needs and cares of others of their resident neighbors and do what they can, as they can to make Muncie a little bit easier to be a kinder and more compassionate place to live.

I choose to believe this is obedience to the Holy Spirit of God, in Christ, in Us working to do His good pleasure and our obedience to please Him who has called us to be His people, to the praise and glory of His Name and high calling.

I hope all of you reading this posting will have found something to be thankful for this Thanksgiving day and to have been blessed to be a blessing to someone else.
