Rural Angola Man Arrested on Child Pornography Charges

ANGOLA, IN - A rural Angola man turned himself into the Steuben County Jail.  following a four month investigation into alleged possession of child pornography. 

According to ISP Detective Kevin Smith, in August of this year information was brought forth which led to the issuance and execution of a search warrant by the Indiana State Police Bureau of Criminal Investigation.  Computers were identified as evidence, seized and forwarded to the Indiana State Police Cyber Crimes Unit for forensic examination.   

As a result of the “extensive child pornography” found on the computers, an arrest warrant was issued for Donald Lynn Sutton, 34, of rural Angola for seven counts of possession of child pornography, all Class D Felonies.  Sutton was taken into custody at his residence without incident and is currently being incarcerated in the Steuben County Jail without bond.
