STATEHOUSE- Union City officials were on hand at the Statehouse today to receive a $500,000. The Office of Community and Rural Affairs (OCRA) honored Union City with a Downtown Enhancement Grant.
“I applaud the efforts of Union City officials for the continued beautification of our downtown,” said Rep. Bill Davis (R-Portland). “The heart and soul of our small towns and communities are found in their downtown streets and businesses.”
The Downtown Enhancement Grants support and promote community-based planning, marketing, and restoration efforts in Indiana Main Street communities. These efforts improve the quality of life for residents and provide opportunities for increasing private investment and employment.
