“The feeling, sound, and freedom of cruising down a sidewalk is like magic to me…Just kids having fun for the right reasons. Not to turn pro and have a TV show, not to be a millionaire, but just to be with our friends with a smile," says Str8 Up Sk8 Shop owner Jason Ramsey.
Str8 Up Skate Team was formed for local young skaters that Ramsey can see love skating for the right reasons.
For them, it’s not about the clothes, or the slang, or the kind of board someone is riding. It’s about having fun, and showing others how to get the same happiness.
